TurnApp

There is much to like about TurnApp, a tool developed by Samuel Gaisie-Yeboa, founder and CEO of Softreckon LLC. You are going to like that it is offered for the great price of free. You are going to like that it has a beautiful interface that’s similar to the tiled interface featured by Windows 8 and Windows phone. And last but not least, you’re going to like the application's functionality. You can use TurnApp to schedule system events, set app and dir restrictions, set up reminders, and more.

The system requirements for running TurnApp are quite low. If you have a Windows-powered machine with .NE Framework 4.0 or newer on it and at least 512MB of RAM memory, you won’t have any problems running TurnApp.

Please note that TurnApp is password protected. To access the application’s interface you will have to provide the correct password. By default, it is “password” – make sure to change it to something else, something that isn’t that easily guessable.

Windows 8 and Windows Phone users will immediately feel at home with TurnApp. That’s because the application features the same kind of Metro-style, tile-based interface. Besides the fact that the interface is incredibly easy to use, the nice thing about this interface is that it clearly presents all the functionality TurnApp has to offer.

Speaking about functionality, there is a lot you can do with TurnApp: schedule a system event (restart, shut down, suspend, hibernate, launch file) to be performed at a specific time, back up and restore data, block access to certain applications and folders, set up reminders for important tasks or events, secretly log keystrokes and take screenshots at specified time intervals, email logged information, there’s a handy clipboard assistant, show the time and date on the screen, on the TurnApp interface.
